Our small and picturesque Park Hotel Liminka is located in the heart of the green and nature-rich town called Liminka, on the edge of our beautiful central park. We are within walking distance of all the services of the town center, all the sports and cultural sites and the historic Old Liminka along the river.

We are a modern, Scandinavian style hotel where you come and go according to your own schedules. With us you can pop in quickly or spend as much time as you want. All our rooms have a widescreen TV, microwave oven, a small refrigerator, electric kettle and complimentary products to make a hot drink.

Our hotel has two rooms suitable for wheelchairs. Please contact our customer service to book a room for your needs.

We also have some pet-friendly rooms in our hotel. A small additional fee is added to your room price if you take your best friend with you.

Work out, enjoy the culture, eat well and slow down

In the same building with the hotel, you can find many excellent services to enjoy. We have the coolest gym in the whole Oulu region called Prässi, a café with all varieties of special coffees, a hairdresser, massage services, etc. and in the walking distance plenty more! At the Helmen Pirtti, only a 10-minute drive from the hotel, you can find a teasing escape room game, an activity suitable for the entire family. The flower and animal park Escurial, an outside Adventure Castle Liisanlinna and the PotteryExperience TiinaMari are again only, a 10-minute drive from the hotel. These are some example destinations “along your way” or for an enjoyable “Liminka Day”.

In the park next to the hotel you can spend some time with outside exercise equipment, a children’s playground or a picnic by the small pond. Please note, that most of our rooms have a balcony looking over the park.

In to the nature!

The hotel offers easy access to Liminka’s appraised, fully marked mountain bike trails, which we more than 150 kilometers just for you! Fatbikes can be rented in advance at the hotel. (TOPyhä Oy Fatbike rental, www.topyha.fi)

Only a few minutes drive from the hotel, you can find the Rantakylä leisure site. A full frisbee golf course, cross country skiing center and sandy beaches with a jumping tower are all at your disposal. Finland’s most important and worldwide known bird wetland and wetland center, Liminka Bay, is only a 6-minute drive away. At the Bay you can enjoy the locally made delicacies, see the free exhibition called “the 8 seasons of the birds” and see real birds from the two-level bird tower next to the Liminka Bay visitor center. There are also several fire pits and other nice things to do at the center. If you are travelling with your bike, you can also head for the mountain bike trails directly from the Liminka Bay visitor center, there are handy signs to direct you to the trails in the beautiful and nature-rich forest. Breakfast at the hotel

A healthy and tasty buffet breakfast is available Mon-Fri from 07:00 to 09:00 and Sat-Sun from 08:00 to 10:00 in the downstairs restaurant Cafe Abraham.

Early breakfast can be reserved by calling customer service no later than 2:00 p.m. the day before arrival.

Lounge

Breakfast is already waiting for you in the room, at your arrival. It includes e.g. bread, cold cuts, lettuce, cheese, fruit, yogurt, instant porridge, snack biscuits, fresh juice, tea, coffee. The lounge has a coffee maker and a capsule coffee machine, which are at your disposal all the time.

A playroom for the kids

At the of the corridor of the 3rd floor we have a small playroom for the little ones. The room Is at your disposal during your whole stay.

Charging station for electric cars

At our parking lot, you can find 4 electric car charging points. Here you can charge your car easily with a phone application. Charging points are 22kW statins. The price for charging is 0.23 €/kWh.

The best karaoke in the region!

Liminka train station was built between 1884 and 1886 according to the plans of Knut Nylander. The current station is not in train service use anymore, so in 1988, the station opened as a public house and since then there has been a roar of laughter, vocals and karaoke! The pub is a protected site due to its historical value. Come and enjoy!
