Fitness, culture and a chance to slow down! All the services of Lakeustalo are located in the same building as the hotel, including Prässi, the coolest gym in the Oulu region, as well as a café, hair salon and massage services.
Just a 10-minute drive away, you’ll find the exciting escape room at Pitojen Helmi, a fun activity for the whole family. The Escurial flower and animal park, Liisanlinna Adventure Castle and TiinaMari Ceramics Workshop are all just a 12-minute drive from the hotel. They make wonderful stops along the way or great destinations for a day exploring Liminka.
In the park next to the hotel, you can spend time using the outdoor fitness equipment, let the children enjoy the playground or have a picnic by the pond. Most of our rooms have a balcony overlooking the park.
INTO THE GREAT OUTDOORS!
From the hotel, you can easily access Liminka’s highly acclaimed, fully signposted mountain biking trails, covering around 150 kilometres! Fatbikes can be rented in advance and delivered to the hotel. (TOPyhä Oy Fatbike Rental, www.topyha.fi.)
The Rantakylä disc golf course, cross-country skiing trails and sandy beach are just a few minutes’ drive away.
Just a six-minute drive from our hotel, you’ll find Finland’s most important bird wetland, Liminganlahti, with its nature centre. Our other hotel is also located at Liminganlahti. At the nature centre, you can enjoy delicious food at the restaurant, explore the free The Eight Seasons of Birds exhibition and go birdwatching from the two-level birdwatching tower. The centre also has large campfire areas and plenty of other activities to enjoy. There is also clear signage from the nature centre to Liminka’s mountain biking trails.
If you purchased a buffet breakfast with your accommodation (from 1 March 2026 onwards), breakfast will be served at the stunning restaurant at Liminganlahti.
